Journal of Kerbala for Agricultural Sciences, 2018, Volume 5, Issue 3, Pages 1-13

This experiment was carried out at the  which poultry farm  of  Babylon to study the effect of adding humic acid to the drinking water on performance of Ross 308  broiler chicks . The experimented the period from  20/1/2017  to 5/3/2017of birds age  , A total of 135 one day old chicks were used in this experimented , chicks were allocated randomly in                     to 3 treatments, 45 chicks for each treatment , each treatment was included 3 equal replicates, 15 chicks for each one.

The treatments , were: -

Treatment (T1)  basal diet + fresh water without addition (Control group).

Treatment(T2)  basal diet + fresh water supplemented with Humic acids in  ( 3.6 g/l liter water .

Treatment(T3)  basal diet + fresh water supplemented with Humic acids     ( 7.8 g/l liter water .

The results of this experiment indicated that  supplemented of Humic acids in the fresh  water  during the period (1-6) week of the experiment , had a significant effect ) P≤0.05) on body weights rate of chicks and accumulative feed consumption , accumulative weights gain of the birds  and significant effect) P≤0.05) of feed conversion rate as compared with the control treatment. Addition of humic acid has an significant effect of the birds  ) P≤0.05) on the carcass traits  of birds (The relative weight of the various carcass cuts  and Internal organs )  in comparison to the birds of  control treatment.

Journal of Kerbala for Agricultural Sciences, 2016, Volume 3, Issue 1, Pages 132-145

This study was conducted  during at  4/3/2014 to 22/3/2014  in AL-Chiflawy hatchery ,ALmahawel – Babylon province to investigate the effected of injection of Japanese quail eggs by fat soluable vitamins , A,D3,E and AD3E on hatchability weight and length of hatched chicks , embryo mortality during embryogenesis .A total of 720 fertile eggs were used , eggs were distributed into 6 treatments each treatment included 120 eggs , each treatment included 3 replicated treatment were as follow:

T1: negative control Treatment .

T2: positive  control Treatment it included injection of 50 microliter / egg with cor oil  .

T3: included injection of 50 microliter / egg  of vit A (100 IU/egg)

T4: included injection of 50 microliter / egg  of vit E (15 IU/egg)

T5: included injection of 50 microliter / egg  of vit D3 (100IU/egg)

T6: included injection of 50 microliter / egg  of vit AD3E  (100IU/egg) .

Results revealed a significant surpassing (P<0.05) of vitamins injection (3th ,4th , 5th  and 6th) on control treatment (1st and 2nd) in hatchability of fertile eggs , weight of hatched chick , there was no significant differences between treatment in length of chicks , but there was a significant effect of fat soluble vitamins on weight of dead embryo with a significant decrease of early , middle and late chick mortalities and the total mortalities as compared with the control treatment ,it was concluded that there is a positive role of fat soluable vitamins in improvement of hatchability , increase of weight of dead embryo , weight of hatched chicks with a decrease of embryo mortalities during embryogenesis .

Journal of Kerbala for Agricultural Sciences, 2013, Volume 1, Issue 1, Pages 122-133

The experiment was conducted in the poultry farm , technical college – AL Mussayab to reveal the effect of addition of vitamin C and Iraqi probiotic or their mixture on hematological characteristics of Japanese quail . A total of 120 Japanese quail (96 females and 24 males ) , 60 days of age were used in the experiment . birds were randomly allocated into four treatment , 3 replicated for each treatment (in each treatment 24 femal and 6 male ) . birds in all treatment wre exposed to heat stress at a temperature 36 ± 2 c° from 8 oclock AM at morning till 3 o'clock AM at evening by using aqueous brooders . the treatments were assigned as T1 ; control treatment  (without any addition ). T2: birds in this treatment were fed  normal diet with 250 mg/L  Vit C drinking water . T3: birds in this treatment were fed  normal diet with addition of 4 gm Iraqi  probitic at a dose  / kg of feed . T4: birds in this treatment were fed on of 4 gm Iraqi  probitic /kg of feed and with 250 mg Vit C /L drinking water .

Results revealed that addition of probiotic  increased significantly globulin level in blood plasma while , vitamin C or the mixture of both did not affect the globulin level as compared with the control treatment . Addition of vitamin C and Iraqi probiotic or the mixture of both caused high significant (p ˂ 0.01) on some hematological characteristics such as plasma glucose and cholesterol .
